Patient must have an ABO/Rh type on file. If the patient does not have an MIBH blood type a Type and Screen must be ordered.

Check with Blood Bank for availability
CPT Code
If product is transfused, HCPCS code specific for product ordered in additional to MIBH Cryo Processing fee (CPT: 86999), an MIBH Thawing fee (CPT: 86927) and, if necessary, an MIBH Pooling fee (CPT: 86965)
