Storage Requirements

Specimens not delivered to laboratory within 2 hour should be refrigerated at 2-8° Celsius

Protect specimen from light (Wrapped in Foil)

Indicate body fluid type in Epic and/or on specimen.

Transportation Needs

Deliver specimen to the laboratory within 2 hours of collection.

Insufficient quantitiy for assay, grossly bloody sample
