24 Hour Urine Container with 6N HCl. (Note: Preservative may be added before or after collection)
Minimum Volume to Submit for Testing
Entire collection
At least 10 mL urine needs to be submitted to testing lab.
- Multiple test can be performed from this volume. For question please contact the lab at 547-3975.
Transportation Needs
Deliver specimens to the laboratory at the end of collection. If transportation is expected to exceed 1 hour, provisions must be made to keep the urine chilled
Storage Requirements
Keep urine refrigerated during the collection period.

Greater than 10% of total volume lost
>12hr Room Temperature
>24 hours refrigerated after end of collection
Inappropriate urine preservative used
