Collect samples from the middle finger ONLY.
Repeating Samples: All results <7.0 must be repeated with a new fingerstick or confirmatory tube sent to the laboratory.
Confirmatory Testing
Venous Confirmation: A Laboratory confirmation is required for results <6.0.
Limitations
Measurement must be started within 10 minutes after filling the microcuvette
Sulfhemoglobin is not measured with this method
